Ogre's are large, brutish giants who resembles large humans with burly build and powerful muscles. An ogre normaly stands around 9 to 11 feet tall (approx. 2,7-3,3 meters). Ogres are usually quite dumb, but smarter ogres often advance to a leading position in their tribes and control other ogres by the power of their status.

Ogres are also shamanistic and prefer to worship anything that's powerful enough to cause major harm to several ogres, such as a powerful magi, god, or even another ogre who has enough power to whip around his lesser bretheren. This has lead to several ogre cults to spring up around creatures that doesn't want the worship the ogres provide, such as the Archmage D'orran Rel who single handedly disposed of half an ogre tribe as they had come to close to his tower. His only wish was to be left alone, but the local ogres have all gathered around the borders of his tower to provide him with 'sacrifice' and 'gifts' to their 'god'.

Ogres are, almost as described in the Akilaen world, except that ogres tend to work with lesser creatures, such as orcs and goblins. They bully these creatures into serving them, or they are themselves forced to work for the greater numbers of the smaller creatures. They also do not have the same urge to worship anything that proves stronger than several of them.

Despite this "relationship", they tend to work well together in battle.
